Re: Little extractor program

It would mean that you need to trash all your 32bit software that you purchased... It looks so. Or 64-bit-systems will go the same way like the Intel-686-processor: to a blind alley. That would mean that older games do will nor run on Vista/Windows 7, though I have friends with Vista who said that ...

Re: Little extractor program

How can i get this program to run on windows 64bit? it wont let me. It is not designed to run on 64-Bit-Systems. Try to use it with a DOS-Emulator like VMWARE (commercial) or DOSBOX (free): http://www.dosbox.com I'm on a 32bit system, so I would not know, but I was under the impression that 64bit s...

Re: Wolfenstein (2009) .SPK / .MPK

I tried the wolf2dec, but..it works? i tried with the menu.mpk but don't works (or i dont' know how to make it work) Right. Because wolf2dec is not for SPK/MPK/whatever files; it is only for decls files. Decls files are containers where the game resources (scripts and other text formats) are merged...

Re: Wolfenstein (2009) .SPK / .MPK

Hi all, I've updated my program. The resulting file structure is not compatible with that produced by the previous experimental unpacker I released. But, now the program supports packing the files back into a .decls container, so, you get a lame, but fully functional .decls packer/unpacker. Note: th...

Seems like it contains only map-specific data: sounds, music, textures, etc.

evin wrote:Earlier I tried to find LUA decompiler, to an other game (maybe lua 5.1.3), but only the 5.0 supported. :(
And that was 1year ago! And still nothing new.
There is a LUA 5.1 decompiler available, but Grin's games deems to be using a custom 5.1.2 LUA, so the generic decompiler does not work.

Re: Bionic Comando

I know, this is not so moddable as the GRAW (graw1-2 official modtool exist, but BC modtools not), but as you see in my earlier post the image, it' posible. I'm not touched to any bundle file, but still working. I know that the GRAW is more mod-friendlier as this. Also truth, that I don't care the ...

Re: Bionic Comando

This engine is moddable or was. This (of course older) Diesel engine run under GRAW1-2. Maybe the new GRAW will be much better, of course if then the GRIN is exist and they make the game. The GRAW modding tools do not work; they have changed the file formats slightly. The ones that work are new, yo...

Re: Bionic Comando

Just wanted to tell the news the GRIN that has made bionic commando and terminator salvation just filed for bankruptcy. It's a shame that game companies now have a hard time in the economic crisis This is off-topic, but I have to say my piece. Just take a look around. All games being still played o...

Re: Bionic Comando

Anyone managed to decompile the LUC files?
It appears to be a custom LUA 5.1.2 code, so the generic decompilers do not work.

Re: Little extractor program

I have created GOBREAD more than ten years ago as a 16-Bit-DOS-program when I was a youngster in PC-assembler-programming. Nowadays I wouldn't go up to a program in a way like this. But the skeleton of GOBREAD includes all mechanisms to handle lot of file derivatives - and even with the usage of th...
