yeah it could be a problem with how Noesis handles non power of 2 gnf images or something. any script i make to open this gnf will be overridden by Noesis native plugins, so no-go there. Noesis has native support for PS4 gnf textures and opens that gnf file no problem. :D

but diffuse and normal maps have problems with their channels, for instance the normal map's blue channel has no data, and what is intended to be the red channel is placed in the alpha one. nothing i can do about the colors, that is the way the data was stored. :) i have seen green and yellow norma...

nothing really stood out to me, my guess is this issue has to be resolved
during extraction so that everything is cross referenced precisely.

i was playing around with aluigi's nxpk bms script to make it extract and
decrypt "Rebellious Million Arthur" npk files for fun and give a meaningful
extension with focus to the texture files (pvr, dds, png, ktx). :D
