Re: League of Legends for Blender?

If the plugin was developed for Blender 2.5, why would you expect it to work in Blender 2.63? The README.txt says: This is an addon for the Blender3D 2.5 branch. It has been tested to work on 2.54 http://code.google.com/p/lolblender/ Couldn't you use Blender 2.54 to convert it to a common exchange f...

Re: New idea: get the Gangnam Style dance into games like Sk

The *.pmd files contain bones and provides your base pose. I could view the *.vmd animations with the MikuMikuDance v7.39 software. The 2.vmd file from that archive linked from youtube has messed up animation from frame 550-700.

Re: C++ compiler

A search for portable C++ compilers keeps leading me to Orwell DEV C++ Portable, have you tried this one yet? http://sourceforge.net/projects/orwelldevcpp/files/Portable%20Releases/ http://orwelldevcpp.blogspot.com/ http://portableapps.com/node/32477 pocketcpp seems to be another viable option.

Re: 3DVIA Printscreen 2.3

Nope, although that page remains, PrintScreen was discontinued and recently removed from the site according to this thread on their forums.
You can still get version 2.3 from here though.

Re: Damn!?, realistic Catwoman, Morgan Freeman 3d models!!?

Not necessarily a single picture. Could be a set of pictures of someone (or something) from various angles so that the computer has more data to work with and less extrapolating to do.
Kinda like this: http://www.3dscanstore.com/index.php/default/

Re: trouble opening this .dds file

If you just want to open it for converting then TextureFinder can do this.

8888 = 24+8
Width = 28
Shift = 128

Click on the camera icon to save it as bmp then convert to whatever you want.

Re: How to open/edit/save this TGA file?

It looks like a *.dds file with a *.tga extension. When the image is saved as DXT5 with no MIP maps in Photoshop the file size remains the same. You can also open it in TextureFinder2.1 as DXT5; Width 256 and Shifted by 128. DDS header reference DWORD Magic; DWORD Size; DWORD Flags; DWORD Height; DW...
