Re: The World Ends With You (NDS) sound package
Here is the definition of the SDAT (Nitro Composer) file format. It seems to match your sound file.
I don't know what tools are available for extracting or replacing sounds in SDAT files.

Re: EA .psh
The PSH file format used in this game (which is ReBoot , by the way) is very simple. All values are little-endian. First, the 16-byte header: char {4} - "SHPP" uint32 {4} - Length of the PSH file, including this header uint32 {4} - Number of directory entries char {4} - "GIMX" Fo...

Re: EA .psh
Thanks to sinkillerj and the information he sent me, I have a new version of ExplodePSH that is greatly improved. It appears that there are 4 different image formats in the various PSH files he has, as identified by the first byte of the image. The simplest -- type 0x42 -- is the only type used in A...

Re: img8, img16
It appears to me that most of the content of these files is compressed in some fashion. Here's what I think the file format is: Values are big-endian. char {4} - "IMGB" char {4} - "SODA" uint32 {4} - Uncompressed data length uint32 {4} - Compressed data length byte {Compressed da...

Re: EA .psh
:| Java programmers, never trust 'em. A troublemaker, eh? :P OK, here's the first step: a program to extract all images from a PSH file. Unzip it, then double-click the JAR file to run it. (I'm assuming you've already installed Java 6 .) Create a folder in your "My Documents" folder, call...

Re: EA .psh
I'll see what I can do in the next few days.
By the way, if you don't already have it, you'll need to install Java 6. Is that a problem? (Hint: The correct answer is: "It's no problem at all.")

Re: EA .psh
What sort of help are you looking for? If you want to just replace an image in a PSH file, I should be able to do that for you. The PSH format is very straightforward.

Myst III for PlayStation 2 image format
I'm trying to make sense of the image format used in the PS2 version of Myst III: Exile. The PC and Mac versions of Exile use JPEG images throughout. The PS2 version uses some JPEGs but most images are in another format I don't recognize. While most of the PC/Mac images are 640x640, I believe they a...

Re: Splinter Cell 2 .SS0 Music
You're right, there are many similarities with the format of MAPS.SM1 from Myst III for PS2. Thanks.Zench wrote:Here is the .SM0 format from Splinter Cell 1 and 2:
Do you have any idea how the offsets to the sounds that are inside MAPS.SM0 are determined? I still haven't figured that out for Myst III.

Re: Splinter Cell 2 .SS0 Music
I should post the format of the Splinter Cell 1 PC .SM0 file so you can see how similar they are. Please do. There's no hurry, though. I'm curious but I don't have that game. If you want to add this format and know how, go ahead; otherwise I can do it. If you're sure you don't mind, I'd appreciate ...
