I got it right here. And here's the ASLR thingy.
And also, do you think it would be possible to look into the 5 unknown files unpacked from Characters.big? If those are fixed/identified we'll finally be able to make real mods!
I've tried many times myself but to no avail.

Re: [REQ][PC]Sleeping Dogs .big files
Woah, that was unexpected! Thanks man!
Just out of curiousity, were there any changes made? I notice the version number is different.

Re: .
Battlefield Hardline, World of Warships, The Crew, are all AAA commercial games that were ripped open and spread around on this very forum before official release, and nobody said a word. I'm just saying, it makes no sense to kick up such a fuss about this game in particular when this exact scenario...

Re: .
Battlefield Hardline was available before official release, and people absolutely tore it apart with no fuss.
Same with World of Warships. Same with many other games. Why all the hullabaloo now?

Re: Havok binary files
Just in case, could you quickly detail your previous long-winded method?
I wasn't able to nab the code you posted before it got taken down.

Re: Havok binary files
Only shakotay can do that, although he did it mostly by hand and never explained how.
If you're stuck, just skip the skeleton extraction for now and use the existing one. All these specific anims use the same skeleton anyway.

What do you mean? Could you give some more details?
What is this exactly, what file are you opening?

Re: Havok binary files
I tried Adria and her walking animation and exported it spline compressed correctly. Only problem I have is that I didn't manage to export the skeleton and the animation seperately - they are in one hkx file But it should be enough right? Wasn't the whole point was to compare compressed vs noncompr...

Luckily for you, we already have a work in progress thread on this exact topic here!
Unluckily for all of us, the only person that knew how to convert these files is seemingly dead.

Re: Havok binary files
I already said this in my PM but I'll say it again here so people can see: Source Engine SMD is easily the best format out there for this situation. It's very simple, and is stored in plain ASCII to boot. It can contain mesh, UVs, bones, weights, and animations, all in the same file. Plus every majo...

Re: Havok binary files
I got the SDK and VS set up, but I'll need john to give some more details.
I sent him a PM, but until he comes back we gotta figure this out. I got myself an hkx file, but it seems to be creating model and skeleton files, not animations.

Re: [REL/REQ] Sleeping Dogs Part 2: Definitive Edition
Definitive Edition compatibility confirmed! http://puu.sh/ixUol/d07ea8170d.png But like I said, we can only edit cutscene models. The regular ones cannot be modified because of those buggy unknowns in Characters. The good news is, I showed my TW mod to the devs, and they loved it! Here's hoping I'm ...

Re: Havok binary files
Okay, so. I got the content tools, but I can't seem to export anything properly. There's all sorts of garbage in the file, but no actual animation info even though it's in the view XML modifier.
Also, to get an hkx you need to select Packfile in Write to Platform.

Re: Havok binary files
I'm pretty sure 2013.1.0 is the version number of the tools. If you look on the download page they have 2012.1.0 and 2012.2.0,but interestingly enough no 2013.2.0.
