Re: [PS2] Wild Arms 3 .bin archive
Quick update. I was browsing STGEVTP.BIN in a hex editor when I came across this at the beginning. http://i1205.photobucket.com/albums/bb421/SmashFan127/3D%20Models/firstfewbytesofstgevtp_zps095453fe.png outmap.bin? Well, there's no such file in plain sight when looking at the files on the disc. Cou...

Wild Arms 3 BMS help?
Hello to all who come across. Just recently, I came across some .bin files inside BTLDMEP.BIN and STGEVTP.BIN. I also noticed that shortly before the first file inside, there is some sort of id string known as "MWo3". After looking at the following pics, I can definitely see a pattern. htt...

Re: Finding models inside EEMemory.bin files?
nice thread! I was interested with textures extraction from "Plugin GS.dat" and "eeMemory.bin" of pcsx2 unpacked saveState files, here is some help: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-PCSX2-sstates-VRAM-texture-viewer I can certainly agree that textures are an important thing to a m...

Re: Wild Arms 3 BTLODT.BIN
That file is mostly all texture data raw RGBA in fact all of it is I think one.BMP Textures of a summon is what that is, it seems. What's strange is that the guy over at PS23DFormat found a way to extract some collection of what seems to be terrain. I am aware that texture files can be stored in .t...

Wild Arms 3 BTLODT.BIN
So a while back, I viewed the BTLODT.BIN file on Wild Arms 3's disc, and found some files. I can recognize the meaning behind the extensions of said files as well, other than .tim files. .mdl = Model .msh = Mesh .bne = Bone .anm = Animation Problem is I don't know how to extract the files inside the...

Update:
Using TextureFinder, I was able to look inside the STGEVTD.BIN file and see what appeared to be every character portrait. Please let me know what you think.

Re: Finding models inside EEMemory.bin files?
[...]I dunno if this has something to do with the way the script extracted the model. It obviously has since the script doesn't care for submeshes. You could try to insert "g lines" into the objs I provided to create submeshes such as g sm0 f 1/1 2/2 3/3 ... f 998/998 999/999 1000/1000 g ...

Re: Finding models inside EEMemory.bin files?
Model 7 looks o.k. to me. You mean model 8? Well, you'd to go through the bms script inserting print commands as a debug help. for example: print "nuv: %nuv%" For cvb = 1 To nuv ; print "nuv-addr: %werefox%" GoTo werefox 0 ; (nuv is number of vertices, but not max vertex count) ...

Wild Arms 3 .BIN decompression?
Hello, all. I am here to find a way to decompress the BTLMON.BIN file for the guy behind PS23DFormat. According to him, the files us some sort of LZ compression to house the character and enemy models. Sample file: http://www.mediafire.com/download/gwmkibsbek6omgf/BTLMON.BIN EDIT: Here is a pic of t...

Re: Finding models inside EEMemory.bin files?
So here's the rest: WA3_Part2_3ds_as_obj.zip (Face winding is reverse to the one of the 3ds models.) Model 8's mesh is a complete mess. The vertices are near 0.0 0.0 0.0 and some texture coords are out of bounds/wrong. Thanks! :) I have been wanting to find a way to fix the mesh in model 7. Do you ...
