Re: Sonic Generatiosn PC Lua files.
Yeah, having had experience with lua I can say that the standard decompilers are very difficult to use. If you've got a LOT of tenacity and patience you can make a concerted attempt by following the link below. I've never had enough patience to do a whole lua file, but you might. http://www.worms3d-...

Re: Star Wars Battlefront II audio bank
More information: The top section appears to be a table of contents. The following hex sequences are repeated the same number of times as there are sounds in a given archive: B4 9F 78 2E A7 82 E3 96 E0 6A 38 37 Following those 8 bytes there are four more bytes that correspond with an ID from an alte...

Star Wars: The Clone Wars extracted wav
The following file was extracted from common.xwb from the Xbox version of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, however I'm not sure whether the extraction went properly. It extracted the files as XMA wav files, however xmaencode can't decrypt them and I can't import them as any type of raw file in Audacity. P...

Re: text compression
This looks more like a in-game script than just text. It's partially compiled. I'm not sure of the format, but I do remember that Bounty Hunter was created using an in-house engine at Lucasarts.

WOW! I hate to sound silly, but how did you do that? Even having that would be great. We can always retexture the tracks if UV data is lost.

Sorry for the necropost, but I feel like this is related. -- Is there any chance of a Jedi Academy-compatible version of this app? It crashes for me with JA gob files.

Re: [Xbox] Star Wars: The Clone Wars - data.zwp file
I've looked at the Gamecube version of the game and it doesn't use ZWP archives, however it does show the folder structure for where all the files go. Would that be helpful at all in creating a recompiling script?

Re: We need your donations. Campaign 2011
Do donations of a decent size (don't want to state publicly how much for fear of Mr. Mouse getting flooded with requests) merit a bit of priority on research for specific games? I'm a long time modder, but now that I have a career and a family I have resources to donate towards research - game archi...

Re: Doom 3 (Xbox) .GOB file
This is the same format that Vicarious Visions used for the Xbox port of Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast. There are no editors out there yet, but some initial data was gathered on the formats by Watto back in December of 2005. It'd be nice if this format was cracked. Doom, Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academ...

Best place to find a "for hire" programmer/hacker
I know the title sounds juvenile - let me preface this by saying that I'm a web programmer by trade, am 30 and have a family. I'm not a kid begging for help saying "MaEk DiS plugin For $$$$$" :P What we're hunting for a "version updater" tool of sorts for the Vicarious Visions Al...

Yeah, the issue is that the useful audio is actually inside the ark, which has is a different version than the Guitar Hero games, meaning it can't be opened.
