Re: FF 13 3D models ripping possible ...
@Mr Adults, Yeah I saw the update. I just keep forgetting to do that. Thanks for reminding me. I personally haven't had any issues with the PS3 data using Noesis or my own Autodesk importers. As far as Noesis goes, I've always used the FBX format since it was added; not sure if that makes any differ...

Re: FF 13 3D models ripping possible ...
All the imgb files I see under the "common" directory are 0 byte files, i.e., no textures.flarespire wrote:some do and some are 0kb in size with large xfv files.TheDude wrote:Do those imgb files contain any data?
The xfv files look like they're for visual effects and not all of them necessarily use textures.

Re: FF 13 3D models ripping possible ...
Nice work, I was able to look at some of the battle GUI elements and its quite fascinating how they have done them. There seem to be a lot of .xfv files accompanied by .imgb files in the vfx folder for example, have you had a chance to look into those yet? OK, I updated the link above. I only teste...

Re: [X360] Star Ocean The Last Hope
This should handle the X360 textures.

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
CTX1 actually isn't the same thing, although it will probably "look" right. Different coefficients. I don't have any specific plans for what's next. chrrox had asked me for crunch support a long time ago, and an old coworker needed the FBX smoothing groups, which is the only reason those ...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
Crunch support is a pretty cool idea.
I'm looking at the (sort of) related libsquish source so my Autodesk Star Ocean: TLH importers can handle X360 CTX1 textures (noesis.FOURCC_DXT1NORMAL).
Inquiring minds want to know - "What will he add to Noesis next.......?"

Re: [X360] Star Ocean The Last Hope
Let me know if you run into any trouble with indices. Noesis should support everything now, short of totally custom implementations. OK, cool. Per usual, I want to do it in straight code first - no help from Noesis,i.e., I want to actually learn how it all works first by coding in Maya/Softimage. T...

Yeah, chrrox showed me his Playstation All Stars code over here https://code.google.com/p/noesis-plugin ... sa.py?r=15, but I've been mired in other things.

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
I was playing around with Frosty's DXT/un-tile code recently and used Noesis to troubleshoot the one texture format that wouldn't work. (Noesis worked flawlessly btw). I was wondering if MrAdults (or anyone ) could provide more info on "rapi.imageDecodeDXT(noesis.FOURCC_DXT1NORMAL)" I trie...

Re: [X360] Star Ocean The Last Hope
Yeah, I haven't been too keen to mess with the PS3 format's index compression.
