Well here is a dump of what I believe to be Spiderman's raw vertex and face data. How exactly do I read the vertices?

Well now that I know the compression works, I'm gonna work on finishing my app.
I am going to make a blog and forum for MvC3 hacking guys, I plan on releasing apps, hacks and info on file formats on it.

EDIT: !It works! Replace 0023_00.arc and in game select Wolverines default, yellow and blue costume. Report back with results and if it works, pictures.

Ok guys there is hope, I finally found a zlib library that I could understand. Now if I can replicate the compression for MvC3, we are set.
EDIT: OK I need a person to test some files soon, I'm gonna finalize my .pak extractor and builder.
