Okay, here you could you this script (bones disabled), not promise it will work or it will spoil other models. Note for everyone who may download it, it's a temporary solution just for this particular example!

"_skeleton.gr2" are just bones, there's no geometry inside, you need a maxscript or other Noesis plugin for bones.

Yup, now it's all there all the info to build the model. Damn, I remember I had some hard times getting those models out long ago.
