Mexcom can't change how the game program works, only extract and/or import files from the archives. if the game is limited to only ANSI characters, thats something you'd have to take up with the programmers of the game, not us.

not to be rude or anything, but I HATE fonts that you can't tell the difference between 0(Zero) and O(Capital Letter O), and 1(Number 1) and l(Small Letter L).

i already wrote an extractor. A week later, the company that wrote it, released a program to extract and create the files for you, and that was for UFO: Aftermath, VFS (Virtual File System) hasn't changed in UFO: Aftershock. Besides the MD5 checksum and header, the file is almost exactly like FAT32.

Adding a plugin system also, plugins should be allowed to create new menu items, also new project options, as well as to add to global preferences. I'm going for a options look similar to winamps, only plugin configurable.
