Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis

Still not working (RDR files). I downloaded the version of Noesis V362. but I can not see the images or models. When I try to open one, no previews. He asks if I want to remove it (Pictures or models) but then does not appear in my pc but according to the program, it has been extracted hey dude, I ...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis

Does Noesis support both xbox360 and PS3 versions of the rpf files?

If it supports 360 then can any recommend a drive that I can buy to read my retail 360 copy of RDR? I've seen a few online but is there anything that works well with Noesis?

Re: [plugins] How-To

No luck for me. It'll only show me the RSC01 files and dat files (even after renaming to a few characters+extension - unless if I put on 'all files' and then it doesn't matter what the name is). I can't open or view any of the RSC01 files. All I can do at the moment is export the rpf to a bunch of f...

Re: Red Dead Redemption .rpf converter/extractor

Wowwww. I am testing the plugnig. Long time to unzip the file, I look forward to. Thank you very much revelation, you are my idol. One question: If you're Russian, that your site has a very Spanish name as "Señor Casaroja"? edit: I could extract all but I can not preview it. Noesis tells ...

Re: Red Dead Redemption .rpf converter/extractor

lionKing7 - Good to see you're working at it. The screen shots posted of the textures in Noesis are by the author of Noesis himself and probably with a lot of extra coding /handy work/blood sweat and tears. I very much doubt you can open RDR RPFs in the currently available version of Noesis as revel...

Re: Red Dead Redemption .rpf converter/extractor

My hunch is we shouldn't give up hope just yet. I pm'd Revelation recently and he was kind enough to reply and say he's still planning on working on it. Something to do with working out the texture swizzling format used in the rpf. I looked it up (http://fgiesen.wordpress.com/2011/01/17/texture-tili...

Re: Red Dead Redemption .rpf converter/extractor

It looks like he used a brute/force extractor called Noesis (in the screenshot). I tried searching online for it but couldn't find anything. Anyone else know how to brute force extract the textures?

Re: Red Dead Redemption .rpf converter/extractor

OMG! This is incredible. I've been looking at these pages and Project .black for ages, every week pretty much hoping, hoping. I can't believe you cracked it! Please please Revelations let us have access to your wisdom. I'm a 3d artist and it would be invaluable to me for research purposes. I'm actua...

Re: [PC] Resident Evil 5

Is there a way of getting the stage files from the src folders to work? i.e I have tried converting several .mod files from these and brought the obj files into max only to find a box made of thousands of triangles. I got one section from s404 which was a bunch of pipes (first recognisable scene ele...

Re: Red Dead Redemption .rpf converter/extractor

Has anyone made any headway yet? I've been checking daily on here and Rockstar's site (for mention of a PC release). This is my favorite game ever and I really cant wait to check out the models/textures in max. I also want to learn more about how they achieve such incredible lighting in their skydomes

Re: Tony Hawk Underground

Ok this thread is over six years old but i wonder if anyone ever extracted anything from Project 8? I've always loved the environment/world in that game and would love to get it into max and have a play. As its not an unreal based game I have no idea where i'd start (i'm a modeler with no coding kno...
