Hmm, writing a PhD-thesis is not an easy job, it takes time. Besides, I will need to have a look-see in the CBF files of the retail version to update it. As I said in a previous thread, I can't go around buying all games just to support them in MultiEx Commander! That would make me seriously ...

It seems to me you all must have something in common. This problem is not found on the regular DF forums. Some kind of Audiomanager is obviously trying to play a *.PWF file, which it doesn't recognize as a supported sound file, and fails to play. Here' s what Novalogic say about crashing after the i...

Well, I noticed there is no demo. That's too bad, because I rely heavily on them, I can't go out and buy every game just to implement a new format.

OWW! My mistake! (who else's? ) Anyway, problem solved! It will work now! Try it! The thing is, you were right to opt for webbased format script downloads. As you run MultiEx Commander, and select to open DFBHD files, it will retrieve the script it needs from the web. In essence from XENTAX. ...

Hi there, Well, the Mex3Scriptor is indeed the tool to start using if you want to add new support. In the program you can select Help and two tutorials can be selected. One is the tutorial for the old MultiEx2(16-bit) that is handy to read first so you get into the feel of scripting archive formats ...

WIN98 WORK AROUND FOR VERSION 3.8

To Win98 users that suffered from a malicious install : Replace the .LST file after extraction of all setup files with this one and then run again. msvcrt.dll and scrrun.dll will now not be installed. Thus, your computer should work fine after install. If any other problems arise, please don't yell ...

Well, you could try. Just open the cab file and place the files where you want them. Read the .lst file where the files should be placed. Also, if you have the previous version, a simple install from within the old program would also work.
