Re: [Xbox 360] Forza 3 Resource Extraction Tool (.carbin)

Re: [Xbox 360] Forza 3 Resource Extraction Tool (.carbin)

done in Notepad++ and well we have a big problem, because mesh is already bumpy in Forza Studio, bumps are somehow masked by hmm no idea what, but please take a look on that pic: http://thumbnails11.imagebam.com/7703/c7397a77028965.gif export to obj and then 3dsmax works perfect, but look at poly st...

Re: [Xbox 360] Forza 3 Resource Extraction Tool (.carbin)

I think I have the solution for our problem with 3dsmax!!! The .obj file is using , instead of . (0,004 not 0.004) :P If you change those the model is ok and with proper normals! are you 100% sure? well, that's great :D but any idea how to do it quick? because changing every , in notepad manually m...

Re: [Xbox 360] Forza 3 Resource Extraction Tool (.carbin)

That's why I never export as .3ds from zmodeler LOL. .ase or .x much better way of export from it :)

if you say .dae is that good, is worth try, because this .obj fails. I hope is not a problem make .dae exporter. I mentioned 3ds because i though it might be easy to code.

Re: [Xbox 360] Forza 3 Resource Extraction Tool (.carbin)

ok problem found! i hardly ripped model from Forza Studio by 3dprintscreen (too bad I can only view a model there), but what I can see, mesh is perfect, no bumps. http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/9879/astgood1.th.jpg so now is clear that .obj exporter is damaged or so what about export to this fre...

Re: [Xbox 360] Forza 3 Resource Extraction Tool (.carbin)

no, i don't agree at all that this is weld vertex problem. it seems like points arent imported correct, i can see clear that they are offset, I might blame for that obj coding or so. please look at these pics so u will understand the problem http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/919/ast2j.th.jpg http:/...

Re: [Xbox 360] Forza 3 Resource Extraction Tool (.carbin)

the only way to import it is use Blender but then model looks like on toolieo pics with Original Smoothing, Yeah, saving .3ds in DE to get zmodeler to open it has the orignal smoothing. I changed some settings etc in DE but always orignal smoothing. :scaredy: ofcourse. the problem is not smooth ang...

Re: [Xbox 360] Forza 3 Resource Extraction Tool (.carbin)

The same in 3dsmax and Lightwave, the mesh is very broken (doest look like car anymore lol), which looks like on the pic i posted in previous post the only way to import it is ...

Re: [Xbox 360] Forza 3 Resource Extraction Tool (.carbin)

I dont understand why any program (3dsmax, lightwave, deep exploration, 3d converter) import obj wrong for example in max2010 imported one-77 obj looks like that :S : http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/1696/max1kh.th.jpg Only blender import mesh correct, but then there is no UV map, nor parts well as ...
