You can convert the Star Wars: Galaxies .mgn/sht and the .msh/sht files into Wavefront .obj (fully textured) format using the (registered) 3D Object Converter.

I converted the uploaded (by Darko) r_son_a.gmd file into .obj format with the "Tecmo Model Converter.exe".
I googled into the converted .obj file and I think all texture coords are zeros (vt 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000)

I think the best export format is the Wavefront's .obj/mtl format. The game modders (and others) using this format to import the (fully textured) objects into other 3d modeling programs like 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D, Maya, etc.

I can't support the .max format, because it it totally unpublished.
