Re: Dark Cloud - Strings/Texts?
OK .Pak can also have .mot files but .Mes is our string files, anyone know how to decrypt these? Here are my observations about Dark Cloud 2 (which uses a very similar or identical format as Dark Cloud 1) There are some files, which can be opened up like text files, but some of the text in quotatio...

Re: [REQUEST] Transformers 2004 .VBIN and . ITF (PS2)
Here is a script that will convert the meshes from the .VBIN, and .BIN files (You can save time by running the script on the entire decompressed zipped file, so that the script converts all the meshes at once) Here is an example of a character mesh (some type of car): [img]ps23dformat.wikispaces.com...

Re: FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn (*.DAT0;*.INDEX)
UPDATED AGAIN : In the 2.6GB Benchmark, I can extract many many of the .DAT0 files using just the SQDB files. Use these QuickBMS scripts on the .SQDB files, and when it asks you what other file you want to open, type in the name of the .DAT0 file. Note that some .DAT0 files may contain different ty...

Re: [mesh&animation]Blood Roar 2 (playstation one) act ani d
Reminds me of when I manually copied and pasted the vertex data into Excel, using cheat engine, when running the game on the EPSXE emulator (this was in 2009). The thing is, if I recall correctly, the format of the models that are on the disc, are stored in a strange way, But when the game loads the...

Re: RenderWare SDK Installer Included on BR4 Disc!
So did you try to run as administrator, or the compatibility options? Try that, and (though you may not like this), also try installing on another computer, and then if it installs there copy the installed folders to the computer you were having trouble with. You REALLY need to try installing on ano...

Re: Cabela's Hunting expeditions 2013 [.crf files]
The .msh files in this game are exactly the same as the ones in Dangerous Hunts 2013 (PC version). Here is a quickbms script to convert the .msh files into .3ds files with UVs (the UVs need to be scaled down ALOT, they will be so big that it will look like there are no UVs) http://www.ps23dformat.wi...

Re: RenderWare SDK Installer Included on BR4 Disc!
I'm getting this error when I run the setup: http://imageshack.us/a/img15/5587/1mh3.png I don't have Maya or 3ds installed. Could that be the problem? Do you think this would work with Manhunt 2? PS2 version uses DFF and PC version uses MDL. That did not happen on my Windows 7 64bit computer. I do ...

Re: [Request] Cabela's Dangerous Hunts - 2013 .msh Format
First off the .msh files that have the name skeleton in them are for the xray vision models. The real bones are in the regular .msh files. You can get a free Steam demo of this game here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/218860 (Click download demo) Here is a quickbms script I made to convert the a...

Re: GTA IV LZX compression on resource data
So does anyone here have a way to decompress the files with the RSC header? The program "quickbms" supports XBOXMEM compression, but I can not figure out how to implement a quickbms script that works. Quickbms either crashes or produces an output file of size 0.
