Re: Sakuna Of Rice and Ruin .nhmdl
There is wrong extraction. Looks like peaces of compressing data. You can use my tool for extract files https://github.com/LinkOFF7/sakunaTool Thanks. I tried your tool and it seems to extract the same files (nhmdl, nhtex, etc.), so I think I'm in the same boat as OP. https://mega.nz/folder/Y0ZyQZQ...

Re: .IKM with OGG stream - Legend of Galactic Heroes (Bandai Namco)
Thank you! I'm new to this so I didn't know I could just delete the bytes (I tried extracting it in VGM Toolbox first).

.IKM with OGG stream - Legend of Galactic Heroes (Bandai Namco)
Hey. I couldn't find any useful information (or any information at all, really), so I thought I'd ask here. I wanted to extract the BGM for the PC game adaptation of the Legend of Galactic Heroes anime. Sample file + filecutter https://mega.nz/folder/5551RB4Z#QCBj_8FztQfekNpb4-bCaA https://puu.sh/FV...

Re: Illusion Softworks (*.DTA) SFL Block Compression
Edit: Nevermind, I didn't see this thread when I searched (it showed up in Google instead). Thank you! Oh nice, there's already a thread up for this. I wanted to extract Chameleon's music and sound (just started playing it -- nice game so far, underrated). I got a compiled EXE of huckleberrypie's un...

Re: PAC Obfuscated Archive Format - Bike Banditz (Japanese 2D SHMUP game from 2003)
To update this, in case anyone was wondering: the audio is just a bunch of RIFF headers, easily extracted with VGM Toolbox. No luck on the texture/sprite extraction though.

PAC Obfuscated Archive Format - Bike Banditz (Japanese 2D SHMUP game from 2003)
Hello. I would like to extract the two PAC files present in this MEGA folder (mainly to get the audio). I've included the filecutter results as well. I don't recognize any headers in HxD (looks like gibberish). Just for the hell of it, I tried the scripts on the QuickBMS page that have "pac&quo...

No problem, I was just wondering as I'm still learning this stuff myself (so I don't ask so many questions here!). Thanks for the help.

Re: Help converting .SAM+.PPS audio files
The audio is in Nintendo DSP format. This script will extract the files from the .pps/.sam archives. Thanks. What do I do with the *.vgmstream files though? VGMStream doesn't seem like it'll convert them. http://puu.sh/F1kpm/02422e2ae2.png https://puu.sh/F1kuv/82606007d2.png I wonder why they used ...

Help converting .SAM+.PPS audio files
I have a folder full of sound effects with three filetypes in it from the Nintendo Gamecube game, Lost Kingdoms 2. SAM, which seems to be the audio file itself, PPS, which I guess is the script for the audio file, and a HJD file, which seems to be the directory and names of the sound effects. Can an...

(.SCR script files) Vampire Hurts conversion help
Hello. I've been stumbling through this game's files with the help of this forum. I have no experience in this, so when I saw "map0001.scr" etc I thought they would just be scripts that control the enemy, map file generation, etc. However, simply opening them in Notepad reveals that they c...

Thank you! That takes care of the images. Now all that seems to be left are the .dat files.
Is there a way to preserve the transparency when importing into Noesis, though? The transparency has been replaced with a black background.

[HELP] Converting old GTX (header GTX1) images that won't open in anything I've tried
Hello. I've been playing Lost Kingdoms 2 on the Gamecube, and decided to see if I could open the files within. For starters, what I'm guessing are the card images are in the GTX image format. The guides and help forums online say that this can be converted to DDS. However, I tried TexConv2 to no ava...

Re: [REQ] Help with old Macintosh/Quicktime format (*.pic/PICT)
i don't think these pic samples are apple formats, just typical paletted/non-paletted rgb images with pic extension. :D Ahh, okay. How would I go about viewing/converting the images though? Renaming the extension to jpg, png, or bmp didn't work. I tried Manifold Viewer since it's what popped up whe...
