if you look at the xbt and the DDS side by side, you can see xbt is just a DDS with a header laid on top. so just cut the header off the old xbt, and attach to your new dds, and now it's an xbt. I'd make sure the resolution was the same as the original for maximum compatibility. http://i.imgur.com/...
