Had anyone looked into the cntc files structure ?
They used to be encrypted but now they're not encrypted anymore so it should be easier to reverse

Re: [Request] Guild Wars 2 DAT
Do you know why strings in cntc files dont represent actual strings? They're hashed and encrypted. I'm a bit new to this so I can't understand how it is possible. You can't reverse hashing right? According to the exe, they're using : Aes Cbc Hmac Rc4 Sha Sha256 So RC4 then something else I didn't h...

Re: [Request] Guild Wars 2 DAT
Don't take my words for granted but, to me, it seems obvious, looking at fileId and solidColor, that the flag should tell you if this "page" is a solidColor or a standalone texture found in fileId X. I did some test and it seems it indicates "deleted page, just step over". And j...

Re: [Request] Guild Wars 2 DAT
So the only files left are "unknown" ones (mostly garbage from deleted files?), bxm2 files (I can't find any) and cntc "data" byte arrays, right?

Re: [Request] Guild Wars 2 DAT
Thank you for these infos. Did someone find what means flag 1 in an image (PIMG file). It always gives the same negative fileId. Example : (file=96106) <image> <x>24</x> <y>50</y> <flags>1</flags> <layer>0</layer> <file>-16711935</file> <solidColor>0/0/0/0</solidColor> </image> Also, many of you are...

Re: [Request] Guild Wars 2 DAT
First post right here, but i'm following for a while now. Good joob everyone. Yes, the individual text strings can be viewed in the STRS files, but there is no known structure that ties them together. There is, but it's only know by a few select people. You mean txtm? Or something else? There is not...
