Re: [Request] Guild Wars 2 DAT
So someone managed to extract the ATEP files just as they should be. He says he did that with the help from "ATEXreader" with "small changes to it". He's opened this page here: https://sites.google.com/site/jumptovictory ... really impressive. I wasn't able at all to extract the...

Re: [Request] Guild Wars 2 DAT
For those people who put the Map Textures by hand together in Photoshop I can give the hint to look at PIMG files ;) This git repo and the knowledge that you need PIMG files should be enough to write a Tool fast. Shouldn't even take a day and you have all your maps put together ;) Currently I'm busy...

Re: [Request] Guild Wars 2 DAT
There is nothing inside the dat file that says "skill 123 uses string 123456 as the name and string 123457 as the description" (unless this has indeed been found and I just missed it). Yup, there is. But again it's only known by a few select people (3 that I know of [including me], 2 that...

Looks nice Demonsangel. This should help you: http://pastebin.com/0agaEtTW Started working on it with that data: Chunk: area http://i.imgur.com/2fSHX.png Chunk: havk (collision only atm) (different map than the one above for area) (positioning still is wrong of all objects) http://i.imgur.com/sm4eD....

Re: [Request] Guild Wars 2 DAT
Anyway, I'm working on a small python project that will dump content of the PF files in XML format, that seems interesting ;D. I hope that with this available, peoples will be able to do their own specific viewer tools, as the format will be really straight forward. That would be really nice to hav...

Re: [Request] Guild Wars 2 DAT
I haven't looked through the entire thread, but if anyone can give me a global idea of the format I'll see if I can cook anything up for Noesis in the future. Just take a look at the ModelReader.cpp of the Gw2Browser. That should give you all info to get started. https://github.com/rhoot/Gw2Browser...

I'll take a look at stuff you released and soon I have more time again. Maybe if I have the time and the knowledge I make some Tools for stuff I'm inter...
