Re: Dark Souls FLV file
VLAAAAAAAADDDDDD You are a freaking legend. This 3D map viewer totally surpasses my wildest expectations! I'm totally geeking out right now. *edit* Toysk - try this link http://www.mediafire.com/file/uxjdulq3x43z0wu/dksmv-0.2.exe Vlad - the map viewer really needs a "fly" type of mode usin...

Re: Dark Souls FLV file
in its current form it is not usable by itself. you can parse files and have the data in structured form, that's it. for example, use FLVParser to parse some flv then you can access geometry data, uv's, ... through the the FLVParser's member variables (e.g. Meshes, Materials, ...). if you tell me w...

Re: Dark Souls FLV file
ok here it is: https://code.google.com/p/dkstools/ a command line program is included to extract the bdf/bhf's; i hope it's self-explanatory enough. also are included parsers for flv, tpf, and neos. information on UVs and texture types are following ... Thanks for this! I now have the files extract...

Re: Dark Souls FLV file
@vlad Oh dude, you're like 10 steps ahead of me. I'm also trying to load map sections. You have UVs, textures, models loading in the right position and automated loading of big sections of the map? Where did you find the world textures, as far as I know they are in the .bdf archives is that right? A...

Re: Dark Souls FLV file
I've noticed that most if not all of the models display flipped, as in right-left flipped. Seems to be the same for hatyn's ornstein pics holding the spear in the left hand. I'm going to dig into the script later and see what i can do. Maybe getting textures to display won't be too hard. And batch e...

Re: Dark Souls FLV file
Mother of God...... Finale, you're doing it... awesome!!!! You got Ornstein as well, one of the coolest bosses. I haven't got any of the armored core, gundam files, but hatyn might. I have half of the dark souls stuff extracted though, the rest is still in an archive that current script from chrrox ...

Re: Dark Souls FLV file
Also interested in this. The flver files seem to be different for dark souls. Looking at the files in a hex editor, I can't make much sense of them, but then I'm pretty noob to this. The ascii looks nothing like numeric coordinates, but I'm probably just going about it in the wrong way.

Re: Dark Souls 360 / PS3
every file i tested that did not work for the textures were just thousands of particle effects. what file did you see that you think is some kind of character texture that is not supported. s00002.tpf all the way to s15394.tpf So you know for sure that these are only particle effects? They are all ...

Re: Dark Souls 360 / PS3
The texture viewer works for some .tpf's, here are some examples (shrunk down): http://i.imgur.com/oqZA3.jpg But, many of the .tpf files still don't work using this script with Noesis, they just give the default grey screen. In fact I've browsed through all of the hundreds of texture files, but only...

Re: Dark Souls 360 / PS3
Would also be very interested if anyone can shed light on the FLEV format or anything to do with getting 3D assets into mainstream 3D software.
Thanks chrrox for the extractor, i'll try it soon.
