I don't know if I missed out on a reply to this thread (sorry in advance if I did) but did Battlefield 5 ever have a tool for extracting full bodied game models (other than id-daemon's head deformation fixer)?

Sorry for digging up a dormant thread but has there been any latest news about an easier way of getting the game models?

@killercracker Is there a UV map for decals/emblems? I noticed Terry's model has a patch on his cap, jacket's back and right arm but the their UV maps aren't there, only the jacket and cap.

Re: [Help!] King of Fighter XIV Model format and Noesis scri
The script's working but I'm having some issues with a few models pertaining to their mat ID's. I'm releasing the script anyway because this is something that could be manually fixed anyway. When the normals are applied the model's lighting looks weird too and I don't know how to subvert that. If y...

Re: Frostbite model tools (Battlefield 1, Battlefront 1, 2)
Hi daemon1, I'm trying the BF3 tool out, I have the chunk, mesh, ebx and skeleton in one directory and am able to get the smd for body and head meshes but can't seem to make the face exe work. When you say "assetbank" are you referring to the mesh .ebx file?

I can't help but feel so lucky to be alive in the age of daemon1 and his marvelous mind for 3D model exporter tools!Tosyk wrote:Here's tools to split CharacterRigs.bin and PropRigs.bin into .hkx and then convert them into .smd

Need any files to help you with this? I got BF3 unpacked just taking up a ton of space on my hd for some time now, I can pass you any file you might need before I get rid of it.daemon1 wrote:
No, I need to make separate tools for BF3,4 and HL. Each game is unique.

Re: Frostbite model tools (Battlefield 1, Battlefront 1, 2)

Re: Frostbite model tools (Battlefield 1, Battlefront 1, 2)
The mesh and texture chunk IDs are near the beginning of EBX file if you open it with hex editor. There may be some tools to display IDs (or move the files), but I'm not familiar with them. Is this the same with BF3, BF4 and Hardline? I tried looking and am not getting any ID (or that I can underst...

Re: [iOS] Marvel Contest of Champions import maxscript
Help me please! Don't use DisUnity. Unity Studio (the latest one linked to this thread) is the only tool you'll need since it can open assetbundle files already. EDIT I checked that hulk_red_odr file from the latest COC version I had (v15). Unity Studio works, its just that particular file doesn't ...

Re: [iOS] Marvel Contest of Champions import maxscript
Try converting that fbx in noesis as either fbx again or any other format with bone+weight support then import in Max. Either that or you need to update your 3DSMax.logansan25 wrote: Thanks a lot. I had tried, however when i try import file fbx in 3D Max dont happen nothing.

Re: [iOS] Marvel Contest of Champions import maxscript
Open the .bin file in notepad and check the header (or somewhere around there), you will see the name of the character it belongs to. No, what I mean is that I have already exported the 43 to the character named .mesh and the 90 to the character named .avatar. What I don't know what to do from ther...

Re: Most Wanted Games
I'd chime in Lord of the Rings Conquest . From what I was told the format was messy way back then. Sadly this never got off the ground kind of a shame since Peter Jackson's WETA had provided the developers with the movie's model assets for references (which, I even provided game file samples years a...
