Re: (PS3) Virtua FIghter 5 / Project Diva Dream Theater

Can anyone rip "Goh Hinogami" and post it here (milkshape or 3dsmax11)? I would be grateful since I 'm unable to do it myself...
I search for this model months now...
thanks in advance

Re: Model from Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution (PS2), *.MRG, *.MRG_GZ

Glad you asked, if you can get this game working with PCX2, version .94 http://www.generalemu.net/pcsx2archive/archive/pcsx2_v0.9.4/index.htm then you can send me a save state. It has to be version .94 though. Hey, here you go: :) http://www.mediafire.com/?d3dhnamzdqj However, I dislike PCSX2 0.9.4...

Re: Model from Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution (PS2), *.MRG, *.MRG_GZ

Something tells me that these may not be tristrips per se, but here are some vertexes from one of those small files: http://ps23dformat.wikispaces.com/file/view/vertexVF4.jpg/151837959/vertexVF4.jpg Maybe this is part of his hood? Hmm it actually can be anything! It's very unclear! What is the name...

Re: Model from Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution (PS2), *.MRG, *.MRG_GZ

I think your right about the Gzip compression, though I could not get it to work with a gzip library that I used. As for the files that are not compressed, I think they are tristrips. Each model is stored in chunks: 4ByteFloat(X,Y,Z) 00 00 FF FF 4ByteFloatNormalMapping 4ByteFloatWeight (usually 1.0...

Model from Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution (PS2), *.MRG, *.MRG_GZ

Hello. I would like to ask if it is possible to extract somehow the "Goh Hinogami" model from Virtua Fighter 4. I managed to find all the files that involve this character (the ones that I think at least). I really wonder if it's possible to combine all the needed files so it can be an usa...

Re: David Douillet Judo, .pak , (PC)

Just to let you know im still looking into this! So far been able to unpack some of the datafiles, most textures are DDS or TGA. The reeason why this might take longer (and has taken longer than expected) is because modelfiles would be linked to the texture name of a file, so i cannot really rip ou...

Re: David Douillet Judo, .pak , (PC)

So far doing great progress on this, atleast for the imagefiles that i find in the snippets. im going to make more tries on the actual gamearchive today. So far mostly successful conversions to TGA format, with a few exceptions, but i know why they fail, so it should be fixable. I havent yet found ...

Re: David Douillet Judo, .pak , (PC)

I would think someone could easly write a BMS extractor script for this format, since nothing seems to be encrypted or anything. So once the PAK archive for this game is solved, you should be able to open all of the paks for this game, (i would assume), the most alarming part however is that i dont...

Re: David Douillet Judo, .pak , (PC)

This seems very easy, first is the index of all files in the archive, all files are Zlib compressed. i got out 5MB of DDS files from front-judo file, however the DDS files lacks a DXT header, but it should be replaceable. Thanks for the very fast reply. I actually want to extract this archive (actu...
