Re: Modding Results
So I found the One Piece Ripper which worked quite well, then mucked around a bit to get everythibg combined into 3dsmax properly so I could then export it to the source engine...why? Left 4 dead 2....I just love porting models over to it. So here is captain buggy in l4d2...he's my first attempt. En...

Re: [PS3] One Piece Kaizoku Musou
[Update] Well, it seems while that was the 1st part of my issue, my trials are not yet over. The UVs are getting corrupted somehow when I export from lightwave...not being really familiar with lightwave, I really am not sure where to look at this point. I've tried everything I can think of and nothi...

Re: [PS3] One Piece Kaizoku Musou
Hi, I am having an odd issue...the ripper works fine, I get all the files, open in lightwave, etc....all that is fine(so thanks for that!). But I don't know virtually anything about lightwave, so I export as OBJ and import that into 3dsmax.... now that's where the issue comes into play, and I was ho...

Re: Tekken 6
Well, yes, I would try to use the other version...i've never tried the version you are using so can't say if it works or not for sure, but have read that it does not work, so better safe than sorry. I believe if you search through this thread there is a link to the proper version. try this as your c...

Re: Modding Results
Ok, so I got an email asking me to post my results, or rather, what I did with the knowledge I gained here, so in the interest of not being an ungrateful douche, I am doing so :) I used the tools for ripping the models and maps out of tekken 6 to extract Nina Williams, who I then turned into a survi...

Re: Tekken 6 modding textures and models
well, strictly speaking, yeah you can mod the models and textures if you have 3dsmax, blender, lightwave, photoshop, gimp, etc. The real problems are (a) recompressing everything back together into the proper format(which should be possible since the files can be extracted to some degree, although s...

Re: Tekken 6
Hello, I wanted my first post to be on this thread for a number of reasons...first and foremost to say thanks to all who made this happen, because as a 3d modeller(of sorts), I have wanted to see how the namco fellas did their models for YEARS, and finally I get to! After reading the thread, I tried...
