i and i get .Dat files from Iron Man 2 .pkg file.
That´s only the firt step ,now with an hex editor you´ll need to discover how the data is storaged inside ;)

There is no easy tutorial, if you already have the model just import it, if not then you will need to study the contaniers files to discover how the data is storeaged inside :S

I never extracted textures. Just because all I needed was the models. I tried to extract them but I don´t have a lot of free time so I decided to leave for a future. Thanks zabana, good you extract the models and this its all u need, but really for me, a model withouth textures its like a dance wit...

I never extracted textures. Just because all I needed was the models. I tried to extract them but I don´t have a lot of free time so I decided to leave for a future.

Hi all! I received an email asking me why I decided to extract models from a game and what I want to do with them. Well, easier to answer that, I´m building an Iron Man armor, most of pieces are near completion, but someones not or I want to improve them, so I decide to use as reference game models....

I´m not going to release it yet. I want to decide first about textures but like you said models with textures are cooler so I need to learn a few things yet :D

Finally done extractor in C++. Now taking a rest to decide if do the model with textures or not :P

Right now I´m learning quickbms to do the script for that. After I´ll apply to Iron Man pkg files. Probably I´ll see about textures but not sure yet about it and bones, because I only need models.
