Re: Return to Monkey Island - GGPACK1A archive

If you compile the recent build of Thimbleweed Park Explorer, you can extract assets. I don't think it's possible to repack stuff, though.

Re: Return to Monkey Island

The devs behind Thimbleweed Park Explorer are working on it. They mentioned on their Github page they managed to open the encrypted files.

Re: L.A. Noire

Thank you very much for your reply! But does it sound better for sure? Wasn't it simply recompressed from regular PC 80kbit/s version into 320kbit/s? I don't know If I remember correctly, but in regular PC version there were also some music files in mono. Do they occur here as well? It wasn't trans...

Re: L.A. Noire

Does anyone know whether PS3/X360 have better music quality (~80kbps mp3) than PC version? Does the music game archive file was noticeably bigger than in PC version? Maybe someone already ripped VR version, or PS4/X1, or maybe know whether music is in better quality in these versions? Sorry for the...

Re: Mafia Definitive Edition .sds files

Well, I used a BMS script by AlphaTwentyThree for PCK files with an AKPK header to get the wem files.

https://blog.jamie.holdings/2019/03/23/ ... -projects/ is telling you how to find encryption keys with GFlags, but I have no experience using this.

I think AES keys can be found with the shipping exe file from the game, so here it is: https://mega.nz/#!4FgWmAZY!6_O_NL12Lo1n ... D3gtpnDwLA

Re: Battlefield V .cas .cat

I can't dump the files with Python 2.7.6 x32. This is the error log: Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\Marcus\Desktop\Dump Scripts\Dump Scripts\swbf2_bfv_dumper.py", line 77, in <module> ZSTD = cdll.LoadLibrary("ZSTD") File "C:\Python27_x86\lib\ctypes\__init_...

Re: Battlefield V .cas .cat

I tried Luigi's Frostbite TOC/SB script on this cas.cat file, and it extracted roughly 3.9GB out of those 4.6GB. The extracted files always start with "00 01 00 00 00 71 00 00", so I guess that's the header. I recognized some PNG headers inside some of them, so I guess they are not compres...

Re: BF1 Sbtoc Dumper

Thanks a lot. I actually had to install the 32-bit version of Python on my 64-bit system for some reason, but it's working now. Are you planning on updating the scripts? I doesn't seem to extract the Cutscene audio files.

Re: Frostbite 2 sound extraction research

Anyone tried to extract the BF1 trial, using the sw dumper, but its hardly finding any chunks. Maybe because each level folder has cas/cat files in their folders? Doesn't work for me either. I just tried another method: I opened the .SB file for the prologue and renamed all sounds that end with &qu...

It doesn't work with the PS3 version, though that got higher bitrate files.

Re: dungeon siege 3 *.oaf file

I just wanted to point out, that South Park - The Stick of Truth seems to use a similar format. I tried both the BMS script and the extractor and both seem to fail on the OAF files.

Here is one sample file of the game: https://mega.co.nz/#!pBZmQJAa!CZFfnxuMY ... Jb7Dzjx6NM

Re: Heavy Rain BIGFILE

Regarding the music, I'm still working on it. Extracted and deinterleaved half the score in the game/setup fiiles. Have to stop for a while since I'm moving to another place and won't be able to use my notebook.

I only managed to extract the music, speech and sfx from the game. Haven't found code that indicates DDS textures.
