Could anyone tell me how I can extract sounds from the game? Is there a special tool I need?
I tried looking through this thread, but with over 100 pages it would take me forever. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Important information: this site is currently scheduled to go offline indefinitely by end of the year.

I can't for the life of me run offzip. I'm using windows 7 and every time I try to do it, it just opens and closes. So then I tried using it from the "run" prompt (windows + r). Still the same thing, opens and disappears :( Run as admin doesn't work either. Why can't people make a simple g...

The problem is once I see iwf file, I can't do anything from there. I get a read disk error. I tried to click and drag the file elsewhere hoping I could access it in audition, but always a disk error. Did you mean common_mp, i dont see a mp_common? I tried to access that, but it just says "erro...

search for a tool called offzip, use it with cmd. oh and guap doesnt get individual sound files out of zlib, it just decompresses. since its not really a structured format (cod4 and 6 arent, waw was a bit more structured, but also used adpcm audio) its basically a stream of compressed data you're t...

Zlib is not straightforward at all, i have no idea how to use it. Isn't there a gui version for it? I couldn't find it.
Also guap would load the files until i saw the iwd file inside, but then when I would try to exact that out I always got a disk error.
